Recording a consignment
the whole mechanism
A consignment is stored as a time window and a ticket, not a copy of the data.
Add a row to LOAD_LOG in vaayu-cane.js and this page replays that
window from the hauler channel, models the axle loads, and folds it into the season.
Nothing is duplicated, so a load recorded months ago still reflects whatever the channel holds.
Only the window is needed to get a modelled figure.
Fill in ticketGrossKg and ticketTareKg every time the truck
crosses the weighbridge — that is what turns a load into a calibration point, and every
ticket recorded tightens every other load on this page.
How these numbers are produced
Measured
- Pressure and temperature per tyre, hauler channel
- Speed and position, tracker channel
- Gross and tare at the mill weighbridge
Consignment record
- Date and the IST window of the laden run
- Which plot the cane was cut from
- Ticket numbers, as the clerk wrote them
Modelled
- Axle load from temperature-normalised pressure rise
- Payload and its band; side-to-side balance
- Overload against payload, GVW and each axle rating
